Dr. Martin grew up in Lonoke, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas and went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Julie enjoys spending time with her husband John and their daughter Caroline Cache. Their family also includes two dogs and 10 horses. She enjoys going to the lake, trout fishing on the Little Red River and trail riding in the Ozark National Forest. She serves on the advisory board for the Lonoke Open Arms Shelter and is an avid volunteer for that organization. Dr. Martin has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, endocrinology, senior pet care and pain management.
